Friday is fries day !!!

 

많은 사람들이 금요일을 좋아하지만, 나에게 금요일은 그냥 또 다른 하루일 뿐이다.

Many people love Fridays, but for me, it’s just another day in my life.

 

 

 

오늘은 정말 나가기 싫었지만, 결국 나왔다. 일하러.

Today, I really didn’t feel like going out, but I did. For work.

 

 

 

점심 메뉴를 고민하다가 근처에 있는 햄버거집으로 갔다.

I spent some time pondering over lunch menu and ended up at a nearby burger place.

 

 

 

맥도날드에 가면 별 고민 없이 상하이 세트를 시킨다.

Whenever I go to McDonald’s, I order the Shanghai set without much thought.

 

 

 

신메뉴가 자주 나오지만, 결국 다시 상하이 세트로 돌아간다.

New menu items keep coming out, but I always end up going back to the Shanghai set.

 

 

 

맛있게 먹다가 문득 생각이 들었다. 다른 사람들은 케첩을 어디에 뿌려서 먹을까?

While enjoying my meal, a thought crossed my mind: where do other people put their ketchup?

 

 

 

나는 감자튀김이 담긴 종이 박스에 케첩을 뿌려 먹는다.

I always squeeze it into the paper box that holds the fries.

 

 

감자튀김은 트레이에 쏟아서 먹고, 콜라는 늘 펩시 제로 라임맛이다.

I pour the fries onto the tray and pair them with Pepsi Zero Lime.

 

 

 

감자튀김이 몸에 좋지 않다는 기사를 많이 봐서 안 먹으려 노력했지만, 오늘도 실패다.

I’ve read countless articles about how unhealthy fries are and tried to avoid them, but I failed again today.

 

 

 

굵게 나온 감자튀김은 안 먹을 자신이 있는데, 얇고 바삭한 감자튀김은 도저히 참을 수 없다.

I can resist the thick-cut fries, but the thin, crispy ones are irresistible.

 

 

배부르게 먹었으니 이제 다시 일하러 가야겠다.

After finishing my meal, it’s time to get back to work.
